Monoprints and Drawings

'Just remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else'

- Margaret Mead

The monoprint is a form of printmaking where the image can only be made once, unlike most printmaking which allows for multiple originals. This is a new method for me and the prints shown here are my experiments made on a course with The Royal Drawing School and are printed on Japanese kozo or parchment paper. They can be replicated but no one will be exactly the same as the other.

The drawings are from my sketchbook.
